Anyone know what year and make this partial body is? Any opinions on it's value? A neighbor has this and is wanting to sell, but has no idea on what it is, and I am interested, but have no idea on what to offer.

Been searching but can`t seem to nail down the belt line to anything. Is the door a part of the cowl?? is so post some pictures of the outer door skin and for that matter any other parts you might have that has a interesting belt line. From what i can see the door insides were one made of wood?? don`t see any inner steel construction in the door. that is something Chevys were famous for.

Here's a pic of the outer door. My neighbor thinks it could be an Essex Terraplane from the '30s. I don't know enough about them to even fathom a guess.

Is that a hing at the top of the door?? Or is there only 2 hinges?

Think I found it. looking closely at that upper hings it looks to be mounted on the very top of the door. This 1931 Chevy has the same stile hings.I can`t see the belt line on the A piller in your picture but from what I can match up it looks to be a 31 chevy

Chevy firewall is different than the one shown

  10. Absolutely NOT any late '20s or early '30s Hudson or Essex or Terraplane.

I just found a cowl and door just like this in MN... Same peak under the dash, same rectangular guage holes. I don't know what it is either.
