Help identify my new roadster windscreen (aviation)

    I bought a pair of these today at a swap meet. Aluminum frame with rivets and plexigl***. They are narrow. I don't know much about old airplanes. I'm thinking they would look good on a small roadster. Anyone know what kind of plane they are from?

    may be your two are from a carnival ride?


    maybe those were removed after the pretty wing walker caught her knickers and slipped just that frst time .................................................. ..

    Looks like a Fairchild PT-19 or so to me. There were a lot of them around this part of the country. Cool you ran across those Paul. Lippy
     
  9. Looking at Bruce McCall's "Forgotten War Birds" book, it's quite clearly either a British Humbley-Pudge Gallipoli Heavyish Bomber or the Japanese Kakaka “Shirley” Amphibious Pedal-Bomber.....
     
  10. You are probably spot on there, this is the best pic I could find. It's supprisingly hard to find good close up pics of the PT-19!!
