When I was a little Tyke, and had no pull around the television channel voting system, I came across a Racing Movie that ran one night and was finished up the next night. I was too little to make worthy bribes around doing any home chores, and I've never been able to find out what this movie was called since. It's on my 'Must Do before I Die' List. So if you can recognize it; I would be Eternally Grateful! What I was able to see before being sent to my room to play with my Hot Wheels; was that it was based around a budding friendship between a couple young guys who met while street racing their Model T Bucket Hot Rods. One kid comes from a family who's Dad own's a Hot Rod shop, and when his just met friend blows his engine when they challenge each other to a drag race, he takes pity on him and brings him over to the Hot Rod Shop to get the engine rebuilt. *that's all I got to see for that night. The 2nd night started in with both guys being involved in some sort of road race. It's really stressful on one of them and he has bad dreams of them crashing by spinning out on a dirt overlook and going off a cliff. The next day his vision almost comes true with the exception I think that he forgot to lock down the hood, and the hood blows off during the road coarse race thru the mountains. and that's all I got to see of that 2nd evening show. I've looked for over 30 years for this movie title. Can ya help?????
