Technical Help identify sending unit

    Through the process of elimination, I’ve identified the cause of my temperature gauge’s non participation. A faulty sending unit.

    In normal times I would remove it and bring it to my local parts house and say, “gimme one of these”. But, these are not “normal “ times. Because we are pretty much locked down here in Connecticut, I’ll order one online. Here’s where I need help from the brain trust.

    Can someone give me the information I need to order the correct replacement? It’s on a 292 Y block.

    PS is an oil pressure sender, not a temp sender...

    Anyways...what gauges are in the car? (and...what car is it?) The sender needs to match them, it doesn't really care what kind of engine it is.

    My eyes must have been crossed and read incorrectly. Stewart warner part #280EA
