Technical HELP identify this air conditioning setup

    I can't give you a name but it must be an add on unit with the evaporator hanging under the dash. There were several suppliers before A/C became almost standard equipment today.

    but it looks like the ac is part of the heater box, that doesn't look like a normal 58 heater on the firewall.

    Looks like a GM compressor of that era,I took a dealer installed a/c unit off a 60 Chevy that had the same compressor. It was a under the dash system that had Chevy emblems and was suprised someone had it installed on a 235 powered car.
