Technical Help Identify This Gas Tank

I picked this tank up last weekend at a swap meet and am trying to figure out what it came out of. The guy who sold to me said it was a 34-35 Chevy tank but looking at pictures of those it doesn't match. The tank is 37 inches long and 11 inches wide. Hoping to use it in my avatar. Any help would be appreciated. Chris
