Technical Help identifying a hood?

I got this hood at a swap meet, thought I might use it but I'm not going to. I have no idea what it is. Any ideas what it is?

 

Is it glass? HRP

 

Looks like 30s or 40s.

 

kinda looks like a 37 chevy hood that has had the top made into a 1 piece unit. can't really see the body line though. they do repro this if this one is fiberglass it's a possibility that this is one

 

Looks a little wide at front and rear corners angled do not match 37 chevy passenger, mabey a 37 chevy pickup

It is metal. Someone made it one piece out of a two piece. I'll try to find some decent pics of a '37 chevy pickup. Thanks.
