Hot Rods Help Identifying A Steering Box

  4. Awesome, I need one for my T! How to test it to see if it's good? I can't get it to turn with no steering wheel.

    Loosen that clamp and pull the tube off. Now you can use a Vicegrip on the shaft itself without damaging anything.

  6. Took a little mallet work, but once I got the tube off, it turns like ****er. I must've bought this thing 20 years ago and forgot I had it until I found it today, looking for the axle from a banjo rear end. Now if I could only find that...

  9. If you don't find the missing Axle measure the other one and count the spider gears and P.M. the numbers to me. I have a mess of unlabeled pre 49 loose axles. Pretty good chance I can help you out.
