This is my first post on this site but I have been lurking for sometime now. I have recently bought a 35 Ford coupe that I have know since around 1980. From the looks of it I believe it to be built sometime in the 70's. Here are some pics of the front end set up. Can anyone help me to identify the type of setup it has and maybe what the brakes are originally? I have worked on cars for years but mostly from the 60's and 70's. This is my first foray into the older cars. If I change out this setup would these pieces be of value to someone else? Thanks for any help or directions anyone can offer. Thanks, Mark.

  2. Looks like stock spindles with '40's Ford hydraulics.

Nope, those are '37 to '41 Ford spindles with '42 to '48 brakes on them.
