I'm having a real hard time trying to figure out how to install my lower windsheid moldings without screwing up any of the paint on the fenders and cowl.(been so long since I tore the car down to paint I don't completely remember) The one that seems really difficult to get is the clip just under the A pillar. I know there is probablly a real easy way to do this I think I'm just too focused on trying to not scratch the paint. Any help is greatly appricated.
    Thanks

  2. remove the wiper blades. open the hood remove the screws that hold the cowl (remove the windshield washer hoses first , if you have them) lift the cowl panel just a little and slide it towards the hood, sounds like the molding clips are still in place. they are usually 1/4 or 5/16 take the clips off slide them on the moldings. to get the two end clips you have to open the door and just loosen the 1/4 inch screws just under the fender. with the clips on the moldings screw them in and slide the cowl back on
