    Hey guys,

Trying like heck to solve crazy leak in my 62 Tbird. After much inspection this weekend we determined that the pan itself is warped in several places. I might be able to find a shop to straighten it, but given the large dents in it already I'd rather replace it.

The car has a Cruise-o-Matic 3-speed auto-trans "MX style". For reference, see the attached ident chart that shows the different pan shapes (there were several).

Anybody know of a source for one of these??

There were about a bazillion of those Cruise-O-Matics built, but none recently. I'd be willing to bet that your local salvage yard might be the source. Probably wouldn't hurt to chat with your local tranmission guy; he might have an idea.

Exactly. Salvage Yard or Trans Shop. Plenty of both around the Twin Cities.
