The way hypocrisy gets thrown around here at times often reminds me of monkeys flinging their own ****.

what a bunch of jack***es. So it's a newer built car. A guy comes in looking for help and y'all **** on him. Then you wonder why your piece of **** is broke on the road and a cherry 33 p***es you by without so much a wave. Everyone preaches the "traditional" word and yet you throw it around until it doesnt make sence. No one jumps on the airbag posts and yet I dont remember my pops ever telling me a cool car on bags in the 50s.

If you aint got nothing nice to say..................you know the rest

FRITZ, I saw the "Roswell Rod" at the Road Agents meet and it looked great, sorry I was pressed for time and could not spend more time. It does have a place here in my opinion, First of all you are upfront and state that it is a Tribute car to Ed Roth, clone if you wish. I was lucky to see Ed Roth cars when they were on tour in the 1960's, you are giving kids the same age I was a living link to that era. Thanks!

I agree, Henry built the cars and his wife Nancy did the painting. I understand that they have closed up the shop and moved up to the Carolina's.

Henry went to work as a fabricator for a Winston / Nextel Cup team.

I drive a street rod but am gathering parts for a 28 A tudor HOT ROD.

Actually, I believe the Ala-Kart had bags but I might be mistaken...

    Other than that... Well said.

Well......you certainly kicked up an ant hill when you made that post.

The "kit car" look not withstanding, you might want to lurk for awhile and see what Ryan has going here, and then make your own decision about joining in.

Your past car history certainly included some pieces that anybody on here would love to have. That '34 3W being one.

To answer your question, though. That does look like a "Dana built" car.
Henry bolted them together and Nancy painted them Dana red. Since you also have the Down's ch***is number (16), give them a call.

Hang around, Doc. You might just get "converted". Or teach some of us how to be financially successful.

Going by some websites I looked at, Bugatti made 6 Royales.

Ch***is Numbers 41100,41111,41121,41131,41141,41150, and the Schumph Brothers had a Clone made of the Esders Roadster ( 41111 ).
And that aint one of them...

Looks like a nice Car though, too bad you didnt keep it...

And #44 is probably not a Austin Roadster but a Jowett Jupiter ( see Pic ).

    Cool collection of Cars though...

    Welcome to the HAMB.

  16. Doc, FYI, #17 is definitely not a '27 T. More like a '23 (Ditto #6) -- but you got props coming from those who didn't take the time to learn you built it yourself.

At one time 5 of the originals were in the USA, Bill Harrah had two, Briggs Cunningham, Henry Ford Museum, and the one in the Shakespear collection that Schumph bought. There is an additional clone in a collection in New Zealand or Australia that was featured on "Car Crazy" a month ago.

I dunno - there's a lot of inconsistencies/errors that don't add up in his list of cars and accomplishments.

Maybe there's a perfectly good reason for all of them, but it's still confusing....

    Oh, well.....

Hey, he spelled "chamelion" wrong too, so there :)

No really, How can he get descriptions of his own cars wrong? And "History" on a replica car built in the 90s?

Sorrry, but sounds like "Let me invest your money, I'm a successful financial planner, see all the money I made, and cars I have?" like you see on the multilevel marketing stuff.

    But maybe i'm wrong....

I noticed his ad for his "financial services website" too. He listed a '47 Chevy coupe as a '46 and a '57 Chevy post car as a hardtop. I could pick it apart for a while. I know that's just being picky but there are certainly a lot of inconsistancies (sp?) there that make you wonder...

I think I said that, but in another way earlier in the thread :)

....but I have to say, this thread is definitely a largely different one than what we normally see. Brutal, but educational...and humorous in alot of way. :)

Lots of info on vintage stuff....im educated now...thanks!
