  4. PeeVee,,,,save some of that moss for me.Put a shitload in a big zip-lok bag & I'll buy it.(No Joke)
We vacationed alot in Idaho in the 60s when my dad was still racing,,he was born in Twin Falls, but we went into Jellystone too & caught a bunch of Rainbows. That moss looks SO familiar even after 40 years.
If I remember right, the moss had a sweet smell to it?
I want to give some to my mom for Christmas,,,she'd dig it!
Lemme know & sorry for the de-rail.

    i know, i'm a little strange

you sit and ponder that that thing has been sitting there a LONG time.....think of how lonely it was.....all by it's self.......dark, cold nights......the animals that slept in it......

think of all the years that it sat there, not moving nor making a noise........i wonder when the door actually came loose and opened on it's own (likely wasn't left that way)

you wonder how many a man walked past it, thinking it was "too far gone" or "junk"

you wonder how excited the family was when dad pulled in the driveway for the first time, right smack in the middle of the depression.......who were those people......what was their story.....

or, then you think that some weirdo drove the car back there to hide a body....and when the kidnapped girl jumped out the passenger door to run and escape the ole fella took the dead body out of the trunk and left it to the wolves.....never bothering to shut the door or the trunk:eek:

  8. You could start a new trend......Chia rod. Get yourself a Chia pet, maybe some Chia people, a Chia crying doll....yeah, that's the ticket........

This is the coolest thing i've seen in a while, take lots of pictures and keep us posted, thats like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

And I agree, don't wait.....get it quickly, a lot of deals get away when a little time passes.

  17. if it were me,I would camp out by the car every night and day until it was on the trailer, with a big shotgun in my lap,I would kill my self if someone else got ahead of me and took it from under my nose.

Wow my bigest post. Any one know the production numbers on a 34 ford. I have been looking on the net. Seems like the rumble seat could make it more rare. I don't think there is a frame but not sure. kinda scared to move it.

You're insane if you aren't back there getting that thing right now. I would take a few days off of work and rent the equipment necessary to rescue that RARE car. If that slipped through your hands because the farmer that "didn't know it was back there" told his coffee budies down at the diner, and they tell him that they are selling for almost $50,000 on ebay fixed up, you might find yourself without a free cabriolet.

Shoot... You need to recognize when a stroke of luck hits you not once but a second time again 4 years later!!

NADA says low $23K, Average $42K, and High $68K

If nothing else, get some buddies and take it out a piece at a time. You're going to have to take it apart anyway.

Get it out NOW. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night until I knew it was sitting (in a pile) in my garage...

  23. Lets see that grill shell too.

  24. For all those that posted "its too rough" your on the wrong site, turn in your Hamb name and go some where else....

For those that posted " rare production numbers" You too should go to another site....

Guy that found it, your one lucky man, go get it this weekend. Do what ever it takes.....or I will give you some cash just to give me the information and I will go get it!

It's hard to believe that stuff like that is actually out there, intact, and free for the taking. Unreal...I'd have to pinch myself. Man i'd love one of those.

Creepshow, 1982. Had to look it up though.

  29. Friend of mine found one like that ..5 years ago maybe. Had to build a road to get to this thing. Sold it for something like $6,000 before he could ever do anything with it. I guess one side was a little rotty, it had sat on that side in a field, or the guy who bought it would have offered more. That might be one thing to consider here, if it's not that rusty I'd bet you could swap straight up for a finished model A or pickup - so yeah, you are a lucky SOB - lol

You are lucky I have a conscience. I’ve got the spare time to go find it. You best hurry and get it under your roof before someone else close by starts looking for it.

…have you left to go get it yet?

    …how about now?

    …..what about now?
