    Hey guys,
I got these wheels with some parts I bought over the weekend
and I need some help identifying them.
    Any ideas?

    I'm thinking 50's mopar
(the extra holes around the lugs and "safety beads" [IMG]).
    Size is 14x5
    Bolt pattern is 4.5 x 5
Also there is a "5" by the valve stem.

All wheels had safety beads by the late 40s. I agree with your Mopar guess at origin of these wheels but am guessing late50s-early60s since they're 14". I didn't think Mopar joined the GM bandwagon on the 14" deal for full size cars.

    Are you sure about that?
I disagree. I have seen so many 55-57 Chevy wheels that I am just about sick of 'em and not one has ever had a "safety bead".
That was Mopars big deal back in the day. safety rims

Yeah, other companyies didn't get safety beads until mid 60s, Mopars had them in the early 50s. I would agree with your guess about late 50s Mopar
