Help me identify this mystery grill

    BLEH, that is some outstanding research on your part. I have loads of reference material, and couldn't find it. Way to go
     
  2. Maybe it was the ones that were built in the forties. The pic I remember was of a car falling apart so bad even Rustynewyorker wouldn't sell it:)

    I now own 2 of these grilles. The guy who turned me on to mine had already bought one and I bought his. It still has the glass lense in the oval opening.

    The Checker shots are from the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI.
    Very close to Kalamazoo, so they have a great Checker history there. Awesome place.

  8. Those grills shell deserves a better fate than to be hung on a R** Rod.

    that is pretty wild for a stock grill. nice looking car. now you just need to find that radiator cap

    i have a 36 lincoln grill and a star grill hanging up in the garage so it cancels those out..looks like its a checker like BLEH says
