Anyone have any EZ way to move my seat back about 6"

I am 6, 1 and I need some more room.

The car is mint and I am not interested in chopping and cutting and drilling if possible. Nothing permanent at this time.

    Thank you for the help.

I understand not wanting to chop or cut but the only easy way is to drill four holes in the floor and move the seats back. HRP

Just make 2 new offset front mounting brackets/ pegs for the seat

Sometimes you can just turn the mounting pegs around and will move the seat back about 3"

I made new seat mount clevises that come up thru the floor in the original location, but I moved the hole location reward and added a few extra holes for different height of drivers. I will try to get out to the shop and take a picture if you want.

Nice car Shane when did you get it?

  7. As said before, you may simply be able to flip/spin the mounts and gain 3", or make yourself a set of mounts that are offset by what you really need (I'm 6'6", and have the same issue with ANY 20's car smaller than a Packard :D).

Looking forward to seeing your solution!

I put a steel plate where the wood was under the seat and drilled holes in it for the new seat location. Worked pretty good.
