    Hello to all,

I am looking to have a bead roller die set made to replicate the bead that wraps around the Model A Tudor window. When the original top is removed it looks odd that this bead just stops if the original indents are just filled.
I want the continue the bead around the top of the window and door.

A picture of this detail is here in my album.

Does anyone know if a bead roller set is made to duplicate this wide and flat bead?
    Does such an animal exist?
I am currently looking for a piece of model A that contains this bead to give to a company to make a on-off die to order. Do you have a piece of Model A you chopped that you can part with.
I'm stuck at his point because I stupidly threw out the piece I chopped thinking I would never need it.
    WOOPS!!

    Any help appreciated,

    Jeff

If I'm understanding you correctly, the drip rail goes there.

  3. I did that by bending straight slightly open C shaped sheet metal pieces in a brake and welding them in the gutter indention. Fabricated the curved pieces from sheet stock.

It turned out good and the customer liked them. Today I would rather see rain gutters. Bratton's has 2 piece aluminum gutters.

I don't think he's talking about where the drip rail goes but the t shaped bead that goes between the roof read panels and side.

Cut them out and swap sides, then weld in the slots.

Opps, I've should of looked at the pic.
Might check Mittler Brothers, the have a good selection of dies and the do have "flat" bead roll dies and I think they might have one wide enough. If that don't work might try making a draw die to shape the metal, it would be easier then the driprail I made that way. Link is to my thread on draw dies.
