.....ughh....my 40 banjo....I converted it to open drive some time ago..last year..and for the last 2 weeks....it has been dripping out of the vent tube located on the top center of the right bell.I ran a long small rubber hose connected to the vent and it exits at the rear of the car.It happens everytime I come back from a spin.
never did it at all until the last coupla weeks..not alot mind you...just enuff to piss me off.
    Anybody tell me why?

Too much fluid? Did it leak before? How big is the vent tube? It could be pressurizing the case.

    Root...the vent tube screws into a bolt hole(replacing a bolt in the 10-12 bolts on the bell.....small vent.grease ****** size.....pressurizing the case?
    Whats that?

I was thinking if the vent is too small, all of the parts sloshing around in there may cause a bit of pressure. Kinda like a crankcase pressure, pushing the oil up the vent. I would check and see how much fluid is in it first.
