.....ughh....my 40 banjo....I converted it to open drive some time ago..last year..and for the last 2 weeks....it has been dripping out of the vent tube located on the top center of the right bell.I ran a long small rubber hose connected to the vent and it exits at the rear of the car.It happens everytime I come back from a spin. never did it at all until the last coupla weeks..not alot mind you...just enuff to piss me off. Anybody tell me why?
Root...the vent tube screws into a bolt hole(replacing a bolt in the 10-12 bolts on the bell.....small vent.grease ****** size.....pressurizing the case? Whats that?
I was thinking if the vent is too small, all of the parts sloshing around in there may cause a bit of pressure. Kinda like a crankcase pressure, pushing the oil up the vent. I would check and see how much fluid is in it first.
