help need some 47-54 chevy truck specs

Hi does any one know or have a copy of the frame specs for a 47-54 chevy truck, I am installing new mustang II and ford 9" with a 4 links and I want to get everything installed in the right place with the proper distances from the front and rear of the frame

There are some reprints of the factory ***embly manuals floating around but I haven't bought one yet to know what's in them.

I took and recorded the necessary measurements each time I did mine and went that way but there may be better ways.

 

When I installed a Fatman Mustang II in a '54 Chevy truck almost 20 years ago, I put the front axle centerline about 1/2" further forward than stock. It looked better like that.

Yeah, just go by the back bumpstop holes or the center of the bumpstop pads for the back, unless it might look better slightly off from that after mocking everything up with the fenders and everything.
