I've got this NOS part in its wrapping from an Imperial owner who had several '52-'54 Imperials. The part number is 1439-404 and is a molding but I can't figure out what it is or where it goes. Anyone with Mopar parts books to help me with this? Thanks in advance.

usually a picture gets more results than a number.

That's true with a lot of parts and even some unusual moldings but this is still wrapped up in its' original Mopar paper which would have to be cut off. It's just a long straight molding with a slight curve at one end.
