1952-59 Ford Help Needed - Underside of Hood Dress-Up

Want to dress up the underside of the hood.

Removed the old, ugly sound deadening material and am exploring options.
Topside is painted, so don't want to sandblast the hardened adhesive off. And getting it off by other means would take a huge effort as they used the adhesive liberally. And no, I am not restoring under the hood stock (engine is 351W, fully dressed). The car is going to be show and cruiser, .

Suggestions anyone?
