Just a guess but you might want to check under the dash on the headlight switch and other wiring areas. They were simpler times back then...John

  3. I totally dissassembled my 1951 Chrysler Imperial. I never came across a fuse panel, or fuse box. There were a couple inline fuses on some of the cloth insulated wiring harness wires. Old cars just never needed fuses, I guess? Or a least not many of them.

Now, I remember! There were breakers located around, or above the steering column. Yea, that is what Chrysler used, breakers, not fuses. Chrysler was always way ahead of time with their design, and use of cool new technology in their vehicles..

PM me with a list of the electrical things that don't work. I have the shop manual with the electrical diagrams and can tell you what to look for.

Some of the old cars used a fuse that looked like a little metal box with two terminals. You may have those and they may be near the starter relay or voltage regulator.

If it has a Hemi in it, take it out and send it to me to get it out of the way for a more complete search. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
