Gentlemen; I'm trying to look for information on a particular Ford cylinder head that was thought to be developed for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. The part number was given to me and the number is 40-6050-A2. Any help and description would be appreciated. I believe to number 40- indicates a 1933 or 1934 Ford part. Thank again.

Pike's peak ??? That sounds like somebody forgot they were called "Denver" heads for a little more oats at that al***ude.
There is threads on here about those heads if you search hard enough. Like referenced by 302gmc, they were meant to deal with the al***ude difference in certain areas of the country
Forgot to add these pictures of auto trans on V8 60 Ford. Engine & Trans was from 1981 auction from Ford Museum any help , again, would be appreciate..
