i am trying to figure out what year this radio came out of. i ***ume it is 46-48 merc since it has a m on it cool radio with a 12volt conversion.
i Googled 1948 mercury dash & saw 1 dash that had a radio like yours,so i went to evilbay & found 2 like yours. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1946-1948-f...t=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/1940-48-Mer...t=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr
I think the M denotes manual tuning, when you push the light bars at the bottom, it should rotate to numbers for presets
Thanks for the info, mine has been switched to 12 and am fm conversion to it. I was thinking of selling it since the car i was going to work it into the dash, i sold.
I had a 47 Merc coupe when I was in high school in 1959 and my neighbor gave me a radio just like that one to use.
