Help Please! Anyone know Warbozz (Danny Roberts) from Independance Missouri???

The Atomic Punk project has hit a major snag in progress because I am waiting to get my carbs back from Danny. I sent him a Paypal for $250 on Sept. 12 for his polishing service. The last time he logged on the HAMB was October 1, the same day he sent me a pic of my carbs lined up and polished.

I have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and have left him countless voicemails on his phone and several pm's. Since I trusted him I waited too long to make a claim via paypal to at least get my money back there. At this point I just want the carbs back whether they are done or not. I would gladly pay someone for their time and effort to send them back to me. I DO NOT want anyone to threaten him or offer to break his legs or anything retarded like that.

I understand that maybe somthing has happended to him and he is having issues. However, I don't think the returning a phone call should be that big of a deal as long as he is not in a coma somewhere or god forbid worse....

I probably have about 700 bucks wrapped up in these things. If I can't get these I will have to buy 8 more and pay Dickster27 to clean them up for me and rework them all over again. This really sucks because I had a bunch of other stuff I was going to send to him for polishing too.....

I would appreciate any help in this matter. Again, I do NOT want to hear threats of violence......

Geez, I hope nothing happened to him.

 

He's always been careful and honest in the dealings I've had--I too suspect he's got troubles of some sort.

 

I delt with him a while ago and he was very good I had my stuff back within
a week. maybe somthing is up...

I've been trying to contact him also as he's done a bunch of polishing for me in the past. Danny is super dependable and fast, so like others have said, I hope he's OK because this is very out of character for him...

 

Same here. Danny has polished tons of things for me in the past two years. I hope nothing happened to him. He has always been fast, and reliable.

I hope everthing is alright but if there is someone local that can help out it would be appreciated, Aaron has busted his ass on this car to make his goal it would be ashame not to get it there due to carbs that are already polished. Thanks

Sodbuster got a hold of him and I guess his dad had been sick. I feel bad for him, but if he would have returned any one of my many phone calls, I wouldn't have had to post this. Chris offered to pick them up and mail them to me...hopefully this will be resolved now.

Not yet. Danny knows that I want my carbs and I have left him several messages, he even talked to sodbuster about it before a "Cell Phone Isssue" ended their conversation. He has yet to contact me even after sodbuster talked to him. If he is able to talk on a cell phone there is NO excuse for not even calling me back in over two months time. NOBODY is too busy to pick up the phone and talk for a minute. Or maybe I am just a dick that way???? We all have our share of problems, but anyone with a job or more importantly a BUSINESS should know how to take care of business in any circumstance short of their own demise. Even if his dad is in the hospital he could call me on his way to or from there or when he goes for lunch or something.

Done or not, I just want my carbs back. I guess I need to start looking for more carbs to have Dickster rebuild for me (anybody have any 94's that they don't want to rip me off on?). I was working 12-14 hours a day at the "real job" and going home to work on the bubbletop for 2-4 hours a night. Now I have a little more time to work on it but I am being held up by Danny. I want to have all of the linkage in place before I have my buddy Russ finish the bodywork. The car was supposed to go to Dave Martinez already for roughing in the upholstery and the car is supposed to be painted the week after Christmas. Well guess what, that ain't gonna happen. I am getting kind of pissed off that I can bust my ass to try and meet a goal and be held up by someone who does not even care enough to give me the common courtesy of a returning a phone call. Anyone that knows me knows that it takes quite a bit to piss me off but I have reached that point.

I would like to thank everybody, especially sodbuster for trying to help me out with this situation.

I think I am just going to try and scrounge up a new batch and start over. I will probably end up putting on non polished carbs since I don't think I am going to have time to do them by hand before detroit. If the others show up, I guess I will have extra for the future.
