Purchasing a 1952 Dodge Coronet and need to get some new brake parts for it. I have tried doing some searching online but to no avail. I need drums, shoes, and rear axle seals. Anyone have any knowledge of where to go?
Unfortunately, vintage mopar brake parts aren't as easy as Chevy or Ford. We had a '55 Dodge come in the dealership where I work for brakes, and I ended up getting the parts from Kanter in NJ.
I recommend Robert's Motor Parts in West Newbury, M***. 978-363-5407. I just ordered new door weatherstrip, windsheild and back window gaskets for the ' 57 Dodge truck and have bought brake and u joint parts from him in the past. Good to deal with and have a pretty thorough inventory for Mopars. They have a website also.
Go to NAPA and get a guy to show you the brake parts ill. guide You can match the wheel cyl and master pretty easy
www.robertsmotorparts.com will get you hooked up...anyone who says finding dodge/chrysler brake parts is hard needs their head examined...almost everything they put on the road is interchangeable over a large portion of years and add to that the vast supply of military surplus parts...NAPA has always done me well for brake parts too...
