Pressure is building and is not escaping through the cap for some reason. The system is designed to let pressure escape through the cap when its hot and pull fluid back when it cools down. I use a bottle with a hose in it for my overflow tank.
i filled the tank up with water and nothing drained. i blew on it and nothing came out??? but this is with me assuming it would drain on the floor
no it shouldnt drain on the ground unless it gets over filled there is probably a pin hole in the top somewhere to let the preasure escape.... those hoses come with multiple rubber connectors that adapt the flex hose to differeing radiator outlet sizez and such, do you have the right rubbers on it so that it is snugg going on even without a clamp?
well im getting new ones so i should get rid of that problem if its a issue. but i think they are good
Take the hose off the overflow and put it in a bottle like this. Run it and see if water is pushed into the bottle.
SILICONE!!! Those hose ends are silicone rubber on shiny new chrome and aluminum. It's a slippery combination. Do two things, lightly sand the metal parts and use an alchohol cleaner to thoroughly clean the inside of the hose ends. Then get some premium hose clamps. Dump the worm gear and get the ones made of stainless with the bolt to tighten.
