done. Along with my hot rodding passion I'm also in to 4 wheeling and it seems all areas of the automotive hobby are under attack from people who obviously know better than us. I commend the efforts of all those involved in trying to reverse this trend.

Done= the pres of our car club got the fender law changed in ma. Now pre 49 can run without fenders he has a highboy without fenders. Got stoped over and over so he went to the rmv.after 4 or 5 meetings thay agreed hot rods can run fender less. If a couple of guys can do that. sema can realey move things along.

Another way to help fight the gov't is to become one of them. If someone wants to pass a law that affects your hobby, run for their spot next time. If you win you can try and change the law to be more pro hobby.

I joined a while back when this thread started and recently contacted them through a phone call about new Ct. Laws for composite vehicles but have heard nothing back yet.
Ct has passed a law for composite vehicles.Composite vehicles are registered here as year of registration no matter year of mfg. engines must have every emission part intact for year of engine including CATS and COMPUTER!if original to engine.

anybody heard about the new cali law about muffler shops not being able to install converters without o2 sensors? supposed to be even on non obd cars and obd1 cars. how can they force you to install non original equipment on a car? haven't heard much yet was wondering what people have heard. sounds like a law to force any older car that happens to have a converter off the road.
