HELP!! sbc with NO oil pressure!

    Yup...even if the machine shop tells you it's clean you have to do the job yourself. If it was mine I wouldn't feel comfortable just slamming the parts in there and hoping all the trash was out...you always get something. If you're able to measure it's always peace of mind to see what your bearing clearances are, and your piston-bore as well. Sometimes the machine shops screw up and if you can bring the parts back to them it's better than trying to argue later that the thing blew up because of their mistake. Just ends up being a ******* contest.

    May want to mike the crank and put the right size rod and main bearing with it this time and check the cam bearing while its apart.Just another suggestion
