srosa707 meant to say screw ROB!!! Hey srosa707 tell my bro he is a big fat pie if he doesnt make it your way this year for mooneyes xmas show, paso, or primer nats, etc......basically I am the broke brother looking for a free ride to hang with the CA crowd. I miss the coast and will need a break from AZ especially in the heat of the summer. PM lowtech36 and tell him it doesnt matter what his car looks like if he doesnt take it to CA this year!!!!

    it's your car!!!
i would go without, but save them

  5. I like the lights and bar but they appear to be in front of the body detail that appears to be light. I dont know if thats what that round detal is, but I would not hide the ones in the body regardless?? can the fog lights be moved or swapped-the bracket looks to be off-set. i didnt see anybody else mentioned that -
I also agree that it looks like a german staff car with them. More of an original look and timeless, sleeper maybe.
    What happened to the bumper-etts??
heres a new one for you- Loose the front bumper, put the bumper-etts back on with the lights and bar mounted lower in relation to headlights. photo-shop it and see how that looks.
    NICE CAR !!

Very nice car.....I like all the black, it gives the car a sinister look.....to me, the accessories take away the sinister look and make it look like grampa's car.....But it's just bolt on stuff, so do what you want until you see things my way.....:D

    With. I like factory accessories.

  11. I think they block the looks of that nice 36 grille -- lose em!

Really nice work there. I prefer without but it doesnt detract for the overall appearance. Do both!
The license has to go though, My opinion if anything will detract that will.
I hate to see any wording where a Z is used in place of other letters.
To me..its too new millenium innercity.
    That car is really cool!

  13. In the late 30's when a guy wanted to personalize his car there were 2 basic directions to go.
First style, take everything that wasn't really necessary, off. Bumpers, hood sides, fenders, fog lights, etc.
Second style, ADD everything you could afford from the Western Auto Store, JC Whitney, Pep Boys, etc.
The answer to your question is in your head, not in our opinions. What is the style you had for the car the day before you bought it? That's the direction to travel.

I'd go with the lights without the bar.

I like the guard and lights. Django runs "A" foglight on his car. Looks really nice.

I like with and without. Certainly don't look "wrong" or ruin the car. They were like what you might have seen on the cars back in the day.

    I'd run them.

I'm likin' them! You don't see them on every car on the road and that's why I like them.

Satin paint and black wheels makes the lights & guard look out of place.

But gloss the paint & add trim rings, they'd really kick it up a notch.

Least that's what the mind's eye sees. You asked!

    good luck and kewl car!

Generally, I prefer www and don't like flat black paint. However, I do like that you've stayed in "genre" with flat black, black walls, black everything, subdued and mean looking.

That said, I like it without the lights only because it goes totally against what I just said above. You're taking a dark, subdued car, subtle with a certain look then your tossing glitz on it.
