Technical HELP! Spinning SBC rocker stud.

So here is the conclusion:
DO NOT DRILL. Under the stud is the intake port!!!!!!!

I fixed the threads with a die enough to get the nut on and I pulled out the stud using washers. Saw the open runner below. Crap. Should have left the stud in. So I root through my stash and actually found some new press in studs in 3 thou oversize. So I froze the stud and heated the boss a bit and tapped in the new stud. Awesome right? Maybe not.....as I look at the boss where the stud goes in, is that a mark or a tiny crack? Hmmm. I put it all together and went cruising. Oh well. I new they were junk to begin with.
