Maybe in 1950 we could leave a car in our driveway and expect to find it there the next morning, but unfortunately, those days are long gone. We just had a thread about a car that was stolen from a gated community with guards who drove around every hour. If theives can get a car out in those cir***stances one sitting unattended in a driveway is as good as gone.

We live in a different world today and if you don't take steps to protect your stuff someone will figure a way to get it from you. Why make it easier for them than you have to ?

a friend had his o/t el camino buried 9 cars deep in his driveway. the thieves disconnected the park levers and moved 8 cars and got the el camino.
