Hot Rods Help to get a Hotrod on Top Gears cool wall

The Top Gear television prgramme on UK tv is running a Cool wall compe***ion online, I thought it would be cool to get a Hotrod on there, so guys vote here or add your own car please http://thecoolwall.com/entry/323

 

Bump, I freakin love that show, I have about 60 hours worth on my DVR that I need to watch

Can't say I love the show... I like it. I watch it often. Mainly, I like the hot birds they put in the background, right where the camera can see them during interviews.

Sometime in the late '80s or early '90s Clarkson did a road test of some guy's Fat Fendered Ford Coupe.

For Street Machine Magazine, I believe.
I have it in my collection somewhere.

He ripped the thing to pieces in his revue...


I'd keep our Hot Rods away from this guy...

I like the show but Clarkson hates American cars. America too I think.

Well, if we all weren't fat and our cars didn't **** from 1972 to recently, he wouldn't have so much ammo.

And BMW drivers are ****s.

 

Didnt you see when they drove on the salt flats, they had a great time. They make fun of everyone on that show, thats why its so good.

Yeah, I think he hates everybody equally.

And they can laugh about themselfs...

Its a great show.

But I still wouldn't let him anywhere near a Hot Rod...

 

Having met Clarkson a few times he definitly don't like hotrods, I showed him a pic of mine on my fone and he said he admired the work that goes into them but couldn't see the point of them, thats why i thought a hotrod on there might piss him off !!!

 

I think he own's a GT40. That's American....no?

Or is that British made?

 

An American car trying as hard as it can to be European.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

 

He sold his GT40 because it was too wide for the english roads and couldn't park it anywhere.(and it broke down a few times,even when it was being delivered).

 

Sounds like a pretty good attempt at replicating a British car!

"Top gear" and"cool wall" is a perfect example of an oxy*****!
It is a mildly amusing light entertainment programme, but cars really don't come into it. Why the hell would anyone want their car to be considered cool on an automotive show covering late-model **** presented by three overgrown schoolboys who insist on s******ing behind their hands at anyone who expresses any individualism
and who really gives a damn how fast Tom Cruise can take a modern Japanese family four-door around a test track?

I don't get that impression, they've ripped on ruskies, ukranians, various UK makes/people....they rip on everyone equally....Kinda like hanging out with a buncha military cats....

I agree. He ****ped all over the ZR Corvette and the Cadillac CTS-V. Both of them put the Bimmers, Mercedes, Lexus to shame.
But back to the original post....................I'll go there now.

 

I happen to really enjoy the program and enjoy the commentary quite much when they are being serious about the sports cars. The show is very entertaining! I also really really like the modern super cars and sports cars.

However I voted for ya!

 

I enjoy the show as well however they are making an American version of TG which is a bad idea IMO but that's another story. Why not customize the wall, Everybody post a pic of their ride on it.
