Hot Rods HELP!! Want to start my Flatty on 12v but run everything else on 6v????

Another thing to consider if you go to an 8 volt battery is if you need a battery while traveling you can't just pull into the local store and buy one off of the shelf. Search the archives here and on other sites like fordbarn.com and I think you will come to the conclusion, just fix the problem.
