I need replace a door window on a 1931 chevrolet coupe. Can anyone offer me any suggestions or help on getting the old window out. Can I get the lower channel off crank or do I have to remove the window from the channel in the car. It seems to be very tight.

I'm an old fart and it has been 4/5 yrs since i put new in my 32 but here goes. obviously pull interior handles and then upholstery panel. i think there are four screws holding window mech wood panel this will allow you to slide arm off window bottm. adjust window height as you need to get it off. i can't remember if you have to pull garnish or not. sorry i am not a lot clearer but not a big deal, you shouldn't have to pull channel.
