Help with 40 Ford Wheels.. Picture...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by redpunk, Aug 6, 2004.

  1. We just got the 40 fired up today. But then the Generator shorted out. So we pulled it back out. Its getting close to being on the road. But now I gotta find wheels for it. The wires dont really work. Can anybody photoshop some chrome reverse on it and some mags...That would be sweet to see the different looks...

For modern wheels & some may shoot me for this - I like the American Racing Salt Flats in natural finish...I'll prolly put some on my '40 eventually

    Sorry - don't do photoshop

That gold 40 belongs to Lee Pratt.

    Story about that car....

Back in 2000, I think, my wife and I went to Whichita Kansas for the KKOA Hall of Fame Spectacular show. It's pouring like crazy with a little hail mixed in , and we're all standing under the awning at the hotel watching. Up drives Lee in that car, he parks, gets out, and walks into the hotel lobby like he doesn't have a care in the world. I mean, this **** is pouring down and the hail stones are bouncing around, but he's a cool cu***ber. Neat guy, neater car. He drove that bad *** ***** from California to Kansas.

I remember when the Rodder's Journal with that car in it came out, it was my favorite issue ever.
