Help with a chopper oil filter

Found this at a motorcycle swap this weekend. The reason I'm posting here is I'm ***uming they used a car filter of some sort. The one this oil filter came with is old and crusty, but never used. Any ideas for a replacement? I wish I had dims but didn't think about it. About 3 1/2" tall X 1 1/4" ID (2" OD) best guess.

Get a copy of the WIX Filters catalog. After the application stuff there is a listing by filter type(air, fuel, oil, etc), style(canister, element, woven etc), and size. If it wasn't a special deal, and most are not, it will be in there.
Most filter units are built around an existing filter.

 

IIRC it looks like a drop-in filter for early '80s FLHC Harley

 

You may be right. I might make a trip to the local chopper Harley shop this week.

Yup looks like a drop in FLH style filter.
