Help with a custom grille

  1. Hey have any of you guys seen or done a custom grille on a 1948 chevy pick up? I been researching and I have only seen a couple.... Any ideas?
    I also was thinking of doing 53 buick headlights too.

    I've never seen it, and always thought it would be a cool look-especially with the Buick lights you're talking about. And that is to use the stock grill, but only the center portion that is curved. The flat part on the fenders would be smoothed like the fenders. I think you'd have to move towards the center a little the Buick lights to not make it look out of place. That means sheet metal work to cover up the old head light holes too.
