help with a little body work?

    I got some problems with this qtr panel,a little wavy,dips in and bulges out alittle at seam,should i shrink patch panel,shrink disc or spot weld gun maybe,whats your thoughts?Top x is low,bottom x is high lump

  2. REAL SHRINK AND TAC WELDS TO HOLD IT BETTER COULD EVN USE A PLUG WELD
    start and work slow and see what works, will take a few hours

    i used to do production and it is a lot more hurried, take your time and watch wheer the metal is going
     
  3. Disk, *******/dolly and more disk. Shrinking file would help on the first pic.

    Hey,

    As I read your photos, I see what looks like the swage line is in, or low, and the front " X" is high? The heat from your weld probably ****ed in the swage line as the front " X " rose up above normal contour.

    I'd start by bumping up the swage line to normal contour, whyle I drove the high area at the front "X " down. You may have to land a couple shrinks at the front "X " and do some on and off dolly work to level the panel, but don't over hammer on dolly or you'll cause more high areas.:(
