I have a 32 ford with the ugliest carpeting in the world circa 1979

Where can I buy a simple rubber floor that I can install myself. I have seen dtreet rods done with black rubber flooring that look great.

I heard that I can buy black rubber matting at some carpet places. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

What about buying a a 37-39 Ford rubber that they used as the flooring? Those floors are flat and could be cut to fit if you don't mind spending some coin. Might work perfect!

Also what about tearing out the carpet and rolling in Bedliner for the floors?

McMaster car has black ribbed matting. We used it in a 1928 Vauxhall we restored. It works good on flat floors. If you have a big trans hump it probably won't work. We also put a foam mat under it to give it some softness

Any auto parts store would have a Rhino Liner kit for like $80.

Dennis Carpenter would Mac's which is super close would have the 37-39 rubber mat.

Forget the rug, get to work on those rims!

Have you pulled the rug up at all to take a peak at what's under there? Having a look might give you a better idea of what your options are.
