Hey Folks, I need help/advise with a French Flathead, from someone that has successfully converted one to use in an American car with 12 volt system. I am trying to complete a build my brother started 30 years ago and he picked a 1937 Flathead as the engine, without making this a very long thread, I am once again, this weekend, running that motor and praying I have solved the issues it had. That being said, if it doesn't work out, I have as a back-up a French Flatty with a manufacture/build date of 28 Mar 91 (new/crate, never run 35 year old engine). I have not yet unwrapped it, but I need any help/advise on what needs changed besides starter, alternator/generator and possibly removing 3500 RPM governor. I don't check the site every day, but am more than willing to start a more in-depth conversation with any members . Thank You, anyone, in advance for any help. I have converted a couple french flatheads to use in my 34 Ford. Just ask, I should be able to tell you what is needed and have a couple pictures as well. Harty
