I have what I have been told and some preliminary research seems to confirm is a Small Block Chevy. However, I can't find the block casting numbers on a majority of the sites. The rear of the engine on the driver side has the casting "4010207" there is no typo I did not leave off the "1" from what I can tell it was not cast in nor was it removed or ground off. The front has a "G22" casting in the area where the timing chain would be. The rear passenger side has "H36" "201" and "207" and also a "71 CFD." I am at a loss so any help would be greatly appreciated.
