Help with Jerico Transmission

    Did you ever find out the gear ratios? Just curious!Not sure about the road race trans but my DR4 will pop out of gear if you let off the gas and are not holding the shifter,not real fun on the street but a real blast on the strip! ROY.

    No, I need to open it back up and count the teeth.
    The guy I purchased it from said that the final drive was 1 to 1 but who knows.
    I''ll dig into it later this week and post it here.
    Thinking I got a good deal either way. Even if I can't use it on the street, should be able to make a bit of dough on it. (Leaning toward using it)

  4. Ummm, 4th (in a 4 speed) is always 1:1, as it's a direct connection between the input and output shafts...

    Yep, 1:1 in 4th. The overdrive setup is done using an overdrive ratio in third and installing the shift selector 180*. So although you're shifting a normal H pattern 1-2-3-4, you are actually shifting the gears 1-2-4-3. vic
