Yes it does, and once I get them rolling I really hate taking them apart and having everything spread out all over the shop so I go like fighting fire til they're back together.

Get Vern Tardel's book on how to build an early style A and use the A frame with the flathead, I'm building my second one and has a lot of good info. Both of my coupes are full fendered but the car they built is a hi-boy.

Nice looking build! Wish my body would have been that good when we started. Love the 6x2's! Grind it and shoot some clear! Lol

Yesterday I started painting the smaller parts, grill doors, dash, cowl cover and other small parts. Then painted the bottom of the body.

This is an old Cadillac emblem from a hub cap.

I got up early this morning and painted the body

I had a shop full of loafers around 4:00 so we set the body on, I then started putting on pieces until about an hour ago.

The fuel cell hold down is part of one of the rear fender braces.

Keeping with the old Harley (and farm implement) color scheme I painted the garnishes and dash trim orange, with some heavy pinstriping on the olive green with orange and cream I think it will turn out nice...(different anyway).

Great advice from Adam 401 about the X-member.I used the Bishop Tardell book while building my roadster I continue to use it as a resource. The coupe looks great. Keep us posted.

Before you start in on the radio antenna the holes were already there and I'm using a vintage Motorola AM radio and an old drive movie speaker.

Started the wiring harness last night, I solder and heatswrink all my terminals and since I'm trying to keep this one era correct as possible I'm using the old fabric loom.

These are windshield stays for a Dodge M37 Military truck, they work great on the deck lid.

    Got the seat mounted...

I had this old cowl light laying around and though it would make a good engine light.

    Old school hose clamps...

    Got the brakes finished up...

This is a horn from a '56 Cadillac, very loud.

I really like these Arrow headlights, the signal lamps on top have a little red jewel as an indicator.

Thanks for all the good comments...I don't know about "innovative" but while building it I just tried to think like a young man building a hot rod in the late sixties (with a few exceptions).
