Help with value on Mickey Thompson Magnesium third member for oldsmobile??

My friend has a magnesium third member for his 50 olds. He needs money to finish his car and wants to sell it, but i can't find one anywhere to come up with a price. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I have seen a nice one go for $1500

 

They come pre 57 and post 57.

 

I got 2 for a '50 olds rear, paid $ 250. 3 years ago for my spare. Other is in my FED

What do you mean by nice? his looks good physically. Not dents or dings. It's oxidized, but what old magnesium part isn't?

Well it's going to the big local swap meet in two weeks. I'm just trying to get a price range so i don't get ripped off, or rip someone off. But if it doesn't go i may list it up.

 

something like that is liable to do better on eBay if you can find a shipper that can handle it so it's easy for someone to buy it.

I totally agree with putting it on eBay. Sounds like a rare part, on eBay you may get several people that want it bad ... end result ... BIG BUX. I have sold stuff on eBay for $80 that I would have had a hard time getting $5 for at a swap.
