I'm kind of new, posted before, but not smart enough to figure out how to create a new post ! I will use this venue to get in for now, possibly someone can direct me.

My last post was on registration for a 32 Ford (clone) I now have an engine question for that car.

The motor is a 350 ci Chevy K-Motor with TBI injection

I plan to use it in the 32 I am building but do not want to use the TBI.
I plan to run 3 duces, change the cam etc. The question is will the tbi motor run ok with carberation? I feel that it will.

    THanks

A question like this needs to be asked on the main forum as a technical question.

You will get all the help you need over there.

  3. Need more info. For example if your engine has late style Vortec heads you're going to run into trouble making an old style intake fit without modification. see if the center 4 bolts that hold the intake on look like they go straight down rather than on an angle like the outer bolts. You may also have to run an electric fuel pump. Some later engines have a block off plate where the mechanical pump bolts on and some were never machined for one. Other than stuff like that it won't care if you run carbs on it or FI, just choose a cam that will suit what you're using. It also may be a roller cam engine depending on the year.
