get it running and driving, check the lights, make it safe and enjoy it while you figure out the rest

  3. a pic or two would help

but what is important to you ? and what abilities do you have ?

ive tried the restore as i drove concept didnt work for me car got tottaled before it got half done

does it run and drive now ? or is it in a basket ? what kind of budget do you have for it ?

dont set unreasonable time goals let it come as it comes dont rush take your time and do it right

the place to start is setting a plan on how you want the car to look when its done set a FULL PLAN before you trun nut/bolt one

as you get further into the build you can change direction but you shouldn't really start such a big project without a plan

and after you define what your going to do BUY a factory service manual for the car its invaluble

Looks a bit overwhelming, eh? Well, approach it the same way you'd eat an elephant.

  8. Think saftey! Good brakes and safe fuel delivery CANNOT be compromised. Call me a *****, and then take my advice, but saftey should be first in your mind. The NRSA and NHRA tech books are a great guideline.

one system at a time, will keep you from getting overwhelmed. go through the brakes, fuel, suspension, etc.

  10. It would help if we knew your plans with the car.

Full bore restoration? Custom?? Hot Rod??? Patinamobile????

Can't tell you where to start 'till we know what's going on in your head.
