Hello everyone, please, how do I improve the performance of my 272? I want to make it more "modern" ... thanks

 

Find a 1957 and up distributor for it and put a Pertronix ignition in it. Get you an aluminum 4 barrel intake and put a 4 barrrel carb on it.Get rid of the crossover exhaust and put dual exhaust manifolds from a car on it or headers. If that isn't enough you can try another aftermarket cam. Or just find a later model 292 that already has most of that already on it along with better heads.
