    Hi everyone
can anyone give me some advice on hemi 354 exhaust guide valves.
The original guides have a hole in the guide close to the head as per original specs. I am putting in replacement hothemiheads guides that do not have this hole. Isn't it necessary and if not, are valve stem seals required as the originals didn't run any ?
    Thanks for your help

The hole was/is there to allow a very small amount of lube to the stem.
If you choose to not drill the new guide then set the clearance a bit loose.
Exhaust do not normally use seals.
