I’m doing some upgrades to my Model A and just got my hands on a 392 Hemi. I’ve always loved the look of 3 Strombergs but I’m not really seeing that option for this Hemi. I do have a possibility to locally pick up a manifold that uses 6 two barrels. I’m just not sure how much tuning that is going to take. This is an open engine and I really want to keep the old school look of multiple smaller carbs. Anyone have suggestions to locate parts? Or possibly input on tuning 6 carbs? I do drive my car a lot both city and highway trips. It needs to be somewhat reliable. Thanks!
If you can find one a stock 57/58 Chrysler 300 manifold used duel quads....Hot Heads makes manifolds for 392's but they don't look traditional....
The only intake manifold for a 392 adapts a 6-71 or an 8-71 blower to the engine. Yeah, kidding of course. The internet is your friend !!! "Google" Mike
I wonder if you can adapt a 354 intake, they made a duel 1bbl for truck engines (there is a different duel 1bbl for boat engines too) that look pretty slick, heres mine: I just used adapters to bolt up a set of Holley 94's
Really nice 6-2’s on an Edelbrock manifold. Fuel lines were the best I’ve seen. They are progressive and run on the center 2. According to the owner the engine has 4000+ miles with very minor tweaks.
